Sherrill Hunnibell is a RISD alumna whose work in mixed media
painting/drawing/constructions has included altered books and
alternative books for about 15 years. Sherrill's work has been
exhibited at the Fuller Craft Museum (Brockton, MA); the DeCordova
Museum and Sculpture Park (Lincoln, MA); the Rhode Island School of
Design Museum (Providence, RI) and in numerous other galleries and
museums throughout New England and the Mid-West. She is a professor
emerita of studio art at the Community College of Rhode Island, where
she taught foundation drawing, design and color courses for thirty-nine
years. Sherrill's pieces are rich in visual and textural detail,
layered symbolism, and unique juxtapositions of found objects, texts and
images. Each unique piece is a meditation, evoking dreams and
memories.

All are welcome!
