The ARLIS Research Awards Committee is pleased to announce calls for
applications for the 2007/2008 H.W. Wilson Foundation Research Award.
Projects may focus on research which benefits the profession of art
and visual resources librarianship, as well as the broader world of
librarianship, through such means as compilation and dissemination of
information, translation of original scholarship, analysis of our
professions, or the enhancement of access to information. In
addition, eligible projects include those which result in original
scholarship in the arts (literary, performing, architectural, visual,
etc.) or aspects of visual and material culture.
The winning research project selected by the committee will be
awarded $3000.00. Applications are due no later than January 15th,
