A while back there was a query I think about using recycled materials in art.  The AVA Gallery and Art Center in Lebanon NH (11 Bank Street, Lebanon, New Hampshire 03766 . 603/448-3117 . www.avagallery.org) has such an exhibition opening this Friday.

 

Waste to Art features work created from objects discovered in AVA’S
Eleven Bank Street building from its days as the H. W. Carter overall factory, and from materials discarded during the recent renovation.
These works have been donated to AVA by the fifty-two participating artists and will be auctioned off at a closing party on Friday, November 16, 5-7pm.

Waste to Art is made possible in part by a grant from the New Hampshire State Council on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts.
