There is not a new edition and, as a contributor to this encyclopedia, I know that all the individuals in it are not covered in Grove. This is particularly true for some of the lesser known architects, for example, many nineteenth century architects. Additionally, each author might have a different emphasis, so an article in one might complement an article in another and add something of research value. Certainly, the bibliographies might need updating, but they are still of value being in a specialized biographical encyclopedia covering architects and designers since ancient times. The articles also include a list of major works with a notation if they are still standing. Hope this helps ...
