Dear collective wisdom,
Emory is disbanding our CLASSICS reading room and integrating
the material into our general Stacks. We have circulating copies of the
LOEB CLASSICAL LIBRARY already in the Stacks (with call numbers that correlate
with the authors), but I would like to keep the non-circulating copies all
together—or at least the Green Greek titles all in one place and the Red
Latin titles all on one place in the Stacks.
Does anyone know if there is already a forced call number
that accomplishes this task with minimal extra work for the catalogers (and reshelvers)?
I thought about just making something up - PA25 LOEB, GREEK and PA 25 LOEB,
LATIN and then shelving alphabetically by author, BUT I would much prefer to
use something already established. Thanks for helping a non-cataloger
brain figure out this feat J.
