Dear ARLIS members, At Pratt-SILS our dual-degree program with Pratt's History of Art Department is designed to meet 21st century challenges of art librarianship in the digital age and to prepare our students to be active participants in designing the art information landscape of the future. With our new cultural informatics lab coming online this summer, students will have hands-on experience using digital tools for resource and object description and access, usability testing and for creating digital archives and image databases.
