The 2008 Denver conference planning advisory group (CPAC) recently met in
Denver to review the abundance of session, workshop, tour and meeting
proposals. As in previous conferences we will be providing the opportunity
for groups to self-schedule their meetings to be conducted whereever you
like...at lunch, in the park,over coffee and so on . There is a time set
aside in the proposed schedule (1 1/2 hours) for large ARLIS/NA business
meetings for those few groups that requested time and space. We wish to
include ALL groups that are meeting during the conference in the conference
program. We need to know WHO is self-scheduling: official ARLIS/NA group
meetings are open to anyone (except for
the Nominating Committee, of course). Section, Division, Roundtable and
Committee heads and all others, please touch base with us by AUGUST 20th, so
that we might include your meeting in the preliminary program.
