I asked Dreanna Belden from UNT how she produced her neat video on You-Tube
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rlDx9n4wFb0

and this is what said:

It wasn't too hard. I did the video in PowerPoint, and timed the frames the way I wanted them. I then captured my screen with TechSmith's Camtasia Studio. Camtasia Studio will let you edit video clips, plus it will also do screen captures of whatever you are doing on screen. You can add in audio and edit it. I clipped off about 8 seconds from the front of my tune to make it fit one transition I wanted to make. I also clipped about two minutes of the song off the end.

It's pretty easy to use, and they have good online tutorials that show you how to use all the features. I also plan on using it to do some bibliographic instruction ones for using our digital collections. I'm just waiting to get the upgrade for this software because our version is 3 yrs old - ancient in today's terms!

Here's where they offer a free trial:

and here's their show me videos (tutorials):

Good luck! I'd like to see what y'all come up with!

Dreanna
