Dear Collective Wisdom, I am trying to find attribution information about the quote below from an interview of Joan Mitchell by Yves Michaud. The only information I have is that it is dated 1986. By chance, does anyone happen to know where this might have been published? Yves Michaud: What inspires your work? Joan Mitchell: When I was sick, they moved me to a room with a window and suddenly through the window I saw two fir trees in a park, and the gray sky, and the beautiful gray rain, and I was so happy. It had something to do with being alive. —Interview, 1986 Thank you, Richard Whittaker, editor works & conversations __________________________________________________________________ Mail submissions to [log in to unmask] For information about joining ARLIS/NA see: http://www.arlisna.org/join.html Send administrative matters (file requests, subscription requests, etc) to [log in to unmask] ARLIS-L Archives and subscription maintenance: http://lsv.uky.edu/archives/arlis-l.html Questions may be addressed to list owner (Judy Dyki) at: [log in to unmask]
