Dear Colleagues,
The Flockophobic Press has donated all remaining unsold 'copies' of "On
the Slates" to the Special Collections of The Johns Hopkins University.
There are a few more than we have capacity for, and so we have been
given permission to offer a copy to any library or museum that wants
one.
Clark Coolidge. On the Slates. [New York: Flockophobic Press, 1992].
Designed by A.S.C. Rower. Coolidge's text (a prose poem?) is printed
letterpress on 31 pieces of paper the size of U.S. currency. These have
been rolled and wrapped in a U.S. one dollar bill overprinted with the
Flockophobic imprint, tied with a shoelace, and placed in a worn man's
shoe which has been wrapped in tissue paper and set into a shoebox (33 x
17 x 10 cm). Limited edition of 250, signed by author and designer.
