At the Atlanta Conference, there seemed to be a lot of interest in using
new technologies. The University of Cincinnati Librarians have been
working with the UC Faculty Center for the Enhancement of Teaching and
Learning in the development of programs focused on using technology in
the classroom. We run several events, including a week long Summer
Institute on Technology and Teaching and a one day program in December.
The URL below provides information on our December program with links to
a variety of PDF guides on Wikis, Blogs, podcasting, advanced PPT and
other resources and services. The web site was developed by our library
colleagues in the Academic Information Technology and Libraries
Department (Health Sciences) The programs are a collaborative effort
amongst UC librarians. We receive funding through our campus Faculty
Development Program.
