Dear friends,
I want to thank you for your messages of concern. I can't tell you how touched I am to have received so many emails from the ARLIS/NA community.
The library staff are all safe, although very shaken. We have lost many good friends and family members today. A good friend of mine lost her husband today.
Blacksburg is a very friendly and close-knit community. This really gives a new meaning to the word "unthinkable".
My sincere condolences to anyone else that may have been effected by these events today.
Take time for those you love, just a little bit more today.
