Art Libraries: New and Improved
Friday, April 27 at 11:00 am - 12:30 pm

Each panelist will address challenges faced in planning an art library for the 21st century. Linda McKee and Artist Wick will present about the trials and tribulations of planning for a new space which increased five-fold, and is the focal point of the new Education Building on the museum grounds. Laura Schwartz will address the rethinking and recreating of the Fine Arts Library from a traditional library into what is proving to be a very successful learning center. Carol Terry will lead us through the planning and redesigning of a historical Beaux-Arts bank into a contemporary art and design school library.
