Dear Colleagues, It is an honor to have the Art Librarians' conference in Atlanta this year. Welcome! If you have the time, please stop by the Eyedrum Art and Music Gallery, Atlanta's premier alternative art space. We are an all volunteer, nonprofit organization who's mission is to develop art, music, and new media in our gallery space. You'll be here right in time for some fun: Saturday, April 28th, we'll have TWO free gallery openings, a sculpture exhibition based on the sport of Rock Climbing, and a multimedia contemporary portrait show. Check it here: http://www.pd.org/~eyedrum/calendar/index.php?eventTypeId=1&id=1109&month=4&year=2007 I'd love to talk to anyone interested in the Eyedrum music archive. It is a collection of over 800 music events recorded live in our gallery space over the last 10 years. We're in the beginning stages of trying to make the recordings, at least the information, accessible to the public, very exciting! Have a safe trip! Hope to see you next weekend.
