I wholeheartedly agree with B.J. I still find
Thieme-Becker and Benezit invaluable for serious research, and I keep lamenting
that my predecessor decided to discard Who's Who in American Art before 1986
when this library was moved to its present location. I really want to keep
those references within fast reach...
