As several posters have noted, interested persons can study bookmaking at a variety of institutions across the country, in community non-profit arts organizations and in accredited college programs. Also of interest, and an indication of the continued maturation of the book art field, is the long-standing College Book Arts Association, a group of book art teachers at the collegiate and university level, which is currently in process of drafting a constitution and bylaws, and will soon incorporate as a 501©3 organization. Their first President will be John Risseeuw of Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ ([log in to unmask]). __________________________________________________________________ Mail submissions to [log in to unmask] For information about joining ARLIS/NA see: http://www.arlisna.org/join.html Send administrative matters (file requests, subscription requests, etc) to [log in to unmask] ARLIS-L Archives and subscription maintenance: http://lsv.uky.edu/archives/arlis-l.html Questions may be addressed to list owner (Judy Dyki) at: [log in to unmask]
