I also retain Thieme-Becker, Vollmer, etc. and keep an earlier Benezit in
our upstairs stacks; I transferred the most recent French edition to our
main library when we acquired the English.
Until AKL is up to Z I can't imagine getting rid of T-B, and perhaps not
even then.
I have transferred numerous library catalogs though, and when possible put
links to the online version in our opac.
