I should have remembered in my previous message about this that the
undergrad student art show is juried for several different prizes. The
faculty offer a prize and so does the Dean's office. They each have
their own juries. The Schneider Award offered by our library system is
also juried. Members of the jury are always the Chair of the Studio
Arts Dept, the ULS Library Director and the Head of the Frick Fine Arts
Library. I think the total dollar amount of the prize is up to $3,000
and it can be split in any number of ways, depending on how many entries
we decide to award each year.
