I'll second or third or fourth Wolfgang and Bill Walker and Betty Jo to 
move the convocation back to where it was, or at least move it away from 
the end.  But I appreciate the problems with booking special locations 
that the planners must have. Perhaps we should stop calling it a 
convocation?
