Colleagues,

A local art museum contacted me about organizing their library (i.e.,
exhibition catalogs, monographs, auction catalogs, etc.). Presently
they only have about 200 items but the expectation is that it will
continue to grow.

Is anybody familiar with any software cataloging products that are
designed for modest collections? Obviously they are looking for some
type of classification order as well as subject and keyword access via a
stand alone pc/database. I suppose downloaded MARC records would be the
way to go since they cannot rely on staff to do in-depth cataloging.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
