Rhizome.org, the premier online resource and networking tool for new media
art community, in conjunction with the College Art Association, presents the
exhibition Networked Nature. On view at Foxy Production until February 18th,
the media artworks on display inventively explore the meaning and
representation of ŗnature,˛ from the perspective of networked culture. The
exhibition includes works by C5, Futurefarmers, Shih Chieh Huang, Philip
Ross, Stephen Vitiello, and Gail Wight, who use innovative technology, such
as global positioning systems (GPS), satellite imagery and hydroponics to
produce works that combine art, science, and politics. If you plan to attend
the upcoming CAA conference, we invite you to stop by Foxy Production during
the week or join us at a reception at the gallery on Friday, February 16,
from 6-8pm. The College Art Association also supported an accompanying
exhibition catalogue which will be available at the gallery, and at the New
Museum Booth #156 at the CAA Book/Trade Fair. Details on how to get to Foxy
Production can be found here:
