Dear colleagues:
We are trying to track down the earliest use of the term "aesthetic seduction", or perhaps just "seduction" in art criticism. The patron associates it with the movement against beauty in art, and specifically with the critics Rosalind Krauss and Hal Foster, though the term may go back earlier than them.
