As I strive to spend this year's video money, one of our art historians has expressed interest in getting some "films on arts and globalization--how does globalization affect art/artists?  And, art of the Silk Road from West to East." The former is a pretty fuzzy concept which has not lent itself well to searching so far. For the latter, "Silk Road" is an OK thing to search on, and I've been doing so--but it's rather broad and the specific topics within it potentially so numerous as to be unwieldy. Can anyone recommend specific titles they've seen or heard about?
