Queens College Art Center is pleased to invite
you to Between: Woven Images by Betty Vera. Vera's
"painterly" weavings,some created on a computer-assisted
loom, are inspired by the natural world and the frailty of the human condition,
and express perceptions of reality, experienced and imagined. The exhibition
will open tomorrow, Tuesday, February 6, with a free gallery talk by the
artist from 5 to 6 pm (a CLIQ point event) and a reception to 8 pm. It
will be on view through March 30.
