Pradeep Dalal will discuss his work and the third floor exhibition of his photographs, "Love in Small Change," with the photographer and writer Allen Frame.

 

Pradeep Dalal, an emerging Indian American artist and architect lives and works in New York.  He received his MFA in photography from International Center of Photography/Bard College in New York, and his MS in architecture from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge. He was the Director of Economics & Research at American Institute of Architects in Washington, DC from 1995-2003.  He is currently a faculty member at ICP.  He has appeared as a guest critic at Pratt Institute and has written articles and reports for AIA, Artwurl, Light & Shadows, and Village Voice. He has exhibited in several group and one-person exhibitions in the United States.

 

Allen Frame has been the recipient of grants from the Penny McCall Foundation, Creative Time, Art Matters, CECArtslink and the Peter Reed Foundation, and is a Contributing Editor of Artwurl and Bomb Magazine.   His book Detour was published by Kehrer Verlag Heidelberg in 2001.  He teaches at ICP, SVA and Pratt Institute.  His last one-person exhibition was held at Gitterman Gallery in New York in 2005.
