ARLIS/SE Conference highlights include presentations on trends in artist's books by Bill and Vicky Stewart of Vamp & Tramp, digital initiatives at Emory University by Dr. Erika Farr, the Civil War in America from the London Illustrated News project by Dr. Sandra Still and Alice Hickox, and the Bienes Museum of the Modern Book by Jim Findlay. There will be a behind-the-scenes tour of the unique Center for Puppetry Arts and the opportunity to see the "Louvre at Atlanta" exhibition at the High Museum of Art. Join us for a preview of Atlanta, host city for the ARLIS/NA annual conference in the spring. Learn to navigate Atlanta on the MARTA transportation system and count on free time to take in a rich and varied array of restaurants, local attractions, entertainment and nightlife. There will be some business, some planning, and the legendary LoPresti raffle and awards announcement.
