Dear Colleagues: Check out the latest issue (September/October) of Museum News. Page 79 has a full color image of our own Kristen Regina, Head Librarian at the Hillwood Museum & Gardens, together with Olga Kudryavtseva, senior researcher at The State Russian Museum Library in St. Petersburg. The article that accompanies the picture, written by Kristen, describes her institution's partnership with the State Russian Museum Library, sponsored by IPAM (International Partners Among Museums) to support collaboration between mid-level museum staff in the U.S. and their colleagues abroad during 31-day residencies at each other's museums. Olga spent April and May visiting with Kristen in Washington and the two of them visited the New York Public Library's Slavic & Baltic Division and Harvard's Houghton Library. Kristen is just now finishing up her visit to St. Petersburg. Hopefully, we will hear all about it at some point after she has returned. Joan M.
