Last chance to register for the Saturday, September 30th workshop "Multiple Needle Sewn Book with Paper Slipcase" being offered by the Graduate School of Library and Information Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Saturday, September 30 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Location: Noble Hall - Room 7 Cost: $109 (includes $15 materials fee)10% discount for previous attendees and those affiliated with UIUC. Faculty: Bea Nettles Students will learn the how to sew a book of several sections using an exposed spine stitch with multiple needles. A custom made paper slipcase will be created to house your creation. A beautiful selection of appropriate papers will be provided. A good class for beginners, but repeat students to Nettles' workshops will learn several new skills.
