Director, Arts and Engineering Libraries
The University of Michigan University Library is seeking innovative
candidates for the position of Director, Arts and Engineering Libraries.
The Director has overall administrative and programmatic responsibility for
the Askwith Media Library, the Fine Arts Library, the Music Library, and
direct management responsibility for the Art, Architecture & Engineering
Library. The Director manages an annual budget of approximately $4 million
in partnership with a dedicated, experienced staff of 39 FTEs and is a
member of the senior management team and the Public Services Council of the
University Library.
The University is situated in the heart of Ann Arbor, a unique urban area
with a small town atmosphere and a vibrant, cultural and intellectual
sensibility.
