On a lighter note . . . have any of you seen the July/August Dwell? Our own Stephen Van Dyk is featured there (p.88) in a marvelous full-color picture, sitting on a stack of art books, holding a Philippe Starck lamp. (Well, he's probably not actually sitting on the books--the photo makes it appear so, but I believe he is actually sitting on a small table next to the books.) He is also "the expert" quoted in the article, which is about designer reading lamps. After last year's spread on Milan Hughston's pad, I wonder if this will be an annual event. Who will be next?
