The University of Georgia does not have tenure for Librarians. There is
a year to year contract instead. We are trying to change that so that
Librarians have a continuing appointment. We would like to look at
models for continuing appointment at other academic libraries. Do any
of you in ARLIS/NA have that option in your institution? Can you answer
some questions we have about it.
