Has anyone come across recent data on the unit cost of art books relative
to other areas, or general usage figures of art books in their increased
role as visual information sources? My library is again dividing up
institutional budget increases according to the needs case individual
selectors can make. I combed some marketing data and the news sources; I
was wondering if ARLIS colleagues had discovered any interesting ways of
making a case for the bigger part of the pie.
