Good lord George, of course naive questions are allowed. We wouldn't
get very far if they weren't.

You might try searching the Library Literature index (produced by
Wilson) which indexes 300 library and information science periodicals
in the United States and elsewhere. This database includes theses and
if you limit your search to include "theses" in the subject field,
you will gather only theses.

You should also take a look at the ARLIS/NA (Art Libraries Society of
North America) website at www.arlisna.org. Under the "resources" tab
you will find the Occasional Paper series of the Society as well as
the Online Publications. These will give you some idea of the
scholarly and practical topics of interest to librarians in North
America. Past conference proceedings from the Society can be found
under the "News and Events" tab and will also give you a picture of
some of the most timely as well as long standing topics.

Best wishes,

Kraig
