It’s not too late to register! There are still seats 
available in the July 22 workshop “Historic Binding 
Structures: Coptic Bindings” sponsored by the Graduate 
School of Library and Information Science at the University 
of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. This workshop will be 
taught by Jennifer Hain Teper, Head of the Department of 
Conservation, University Library.

Workshop description: Coptic bindings are the oldest “codex” 
style book structure. In this workshop, participants will 
create their own Coptic style bindings, including oak boards 
and braided headbands.

Cost:  $109 includes $20 material fee
