Regarding the chapter affiliation agreement, the ARLIS/NY board has major questions and concerns. 

We question the premises and implementation of the proposal. 

Of particular concern: the implications of enforcing the NA membership requirement and centralizing dues collection. 

We call upon the ARLIS/NA board to provide a more substantial rationale, a structure and implementation method consistent with the national bylaws, discussion, and a reasonable timetable.
