Hi all-- I have 4 years of print volumes for ABM that don't appear to be online. (Vol. 1 has the early title of LOMA--Literature on Modern Art. But Vol. 2, et seq. bear the ABM title.) I just opened my print volume 2 of ABM to page 51 and searched three citations online: (1) Hine and camera looking for "Lewis W. Hine: a camera and a social conscience" Album - 4 1970 (May) 4-12(11 illus) and did not find a citation before 1974 (2) Hill and plexiglas* looking for "Hill, J. My plexiglas and light scultpures" Leonardo, 1970 (Jan) 3 (n 1) 9-17 (9 ilus) Bibliog and got no hits (3) Hicks and tropics looking for "Demoriane, H. Hicks in the tropics" Connaissance des Arts, 1970 (Feb) 78-83 (8 ilus) and got not hits It's true the early volumes are slim, but based on the above I don't think their contents are redundant. Am I missing something about the history of LOMA-ABM? --Linda Linda Duychak, Art Reference Librarian Kohler Art Library Univ. of Wisconsin-Madison __________________________________________________________________ Mail submissions to [log in to unmask] For information about joining ARLIS/NA see: http://www.arlisna.org/join.html Send administrative matters (file requests, subscription requests, etc) to [log in to unmask] ARLIS-L Archives and subscription maintenance: http://lsv.uky.edu/archives/arlis-l.html Questions may be addressed to list owner (Judy Dyki) at: [log in to unmask]
