Greetings, I recently sent the following message out to the ARLIS-Ontario members and it was suggested that I post it to this list. I also see that there was a survey on this topic in 1999 and wonder if anyone has the results. Thanks, Joan Parsons -----Original Message----- From: Joan Parsons [mailto:[log in to unmask]] Sent: Tuesday, June 06, 2006 5:08 PM Subject: Design Resource Centres Hello Everyone, At Ryerson University we have only one Library (with a few orphan collections within departments). We have faculty here who are now wanting to set up their own design resource centre. I am wondering if any of you have experience with this type of set-up and how the library deals with these collections. Do you know of any of universities in Canada or the United States that have these design resource centres and how they are working? We would appreciate any information or help any of you can offer. You can respond directly to me and if anyone is interested in the responses I would be happy to share them.
