I have master's student working on her thesis who is very interested in the following image. A smallish version of it was published as follows:

Thornton, Dora. The Scholar in His Study: Ownership and Experience in Renaissance Italy. New Haven: Yale University Press, 1997.
On page 95 the caption reads:

"58. Pinturiccio, fresco, early sixteenth century, showing the young Virgin Mary reading, attended by angels.  A very rare image of a young educated woman reading at a desk in a room which, even if it is not clearly identified as a study, is not her bedchamber. The fresco makes an interesting parallel to common representations of the Virgin Annunciate in front of a lectern in her chamber.
Rome, Santa Maria del Popolo, Chapel of Sixtus IV.
Photo: Alinari."

The student might be interested in a better image from Alinari, but their online image database (http://www.edu.alinari.it/login/index.asp?languageID=EN) doesn't seem to provide any way to ascertain that a particular  image is actually there, or anything about it, without purchasing a password for about $85/year (68 Euros). Does anyone out there know if there's a way to figure out whether the image she wants is actually in there before paying $85? Can anyone with access confirm that the image is actually in there, if you don't consider it unethical to do so? Even better, does anyone know where a beeter image has been published or a free online image might be found? (I've searched all over the web in vain so far).
