Dear ARLIS conference visitors, Last year I was unfortunately not able to visit the Arlis conference. This year IDC will have a booth as usual (no.22). In advance, I will share some news with you. On January 1, 2006, IDC Publishers became part of Brill Academic Publishers, also based in Leiden, The Netherlands. Brill Academic Publishers, founded in 1683, is a publishing house with a strong international focus. The predominantly English-language publications in various fields of interest consist primarily of (book)series, encyclopaedias and journals. A brochure listing Brill's publications on Art and Art History will be available at the booth (conference discount 25% !!). IDC's online publication Art Sales Catalogues Online has grown in the past year and now contains almost 20.000 complete art sales catalogues from the period 1600-1900. More catalogues will be added later this month. If you have questions or remarks about Art Sales Catalogues online or Lugt's Répertoire online, please do not hesitate to visit the booth to discuss them. Hope to meet you in Banff to inform you about the publications of both IDC Publishers and Brill Academic Publishers and please feel free to contact me with suggestions for new projects.
