Hi All: I'm sure this discussion has come up before, but I haven't seen it in a while. I just received an email from our bibliographer broaching the subject of discontinuing our subscription to certain journals such as Gesta, that are now found on JSTOR. My gut reaction told me that this was a bad idea [at this juncture] particularly since we shoot images our of journals for the VR collection. She replied to me that she was going to hold the main library off on discarding journals as well. We have major space problems, but it is more because our library wants "information commons" space and is going to compact shelving for our stacks. Any thoughts? Many thanks!
