Special honors to ARLIS author and Art Documentation!!
I am delighted to announce that an article by Dorothy Tao -- "Bibliographic
Instruction for a Diverse Population: Understanding, Planning, and Teaching
in the Twenty-First Century" (Art Documentation Volume 24, Number 1, 2005)
-- was selected as one of the Top 20 Library Instruction articles of 2005
by the ALA Library Instruction Round Table (LIRT). Dorothy's article was
reviewed by a Committee and selected from all the library instruction
articles published in 2005. A citation to it will be included in the
annual "Top 20" list published by LIRT, which is an important resource for
instruction librarians in all disciplines.
Its also an honor for and tribute to our wonderful Art Doc editorial team -
- Kathy Zimon, Eileen Markson, and Judy Dyki - - for supporting
publication of such high-quality work.
Dorothy Tao is Associate Librarian at the University at Buffalo, subject
specialist librarian for Architecture & Planning, and Art History. Dorothy
is also the current President of the ARLIS Western New York chapter.
