Collection value

I was wondering if anyone could offer suggestions on how to put a value on a library collection.  We are a small art library consisting of approximately 9,000 volumes (including monographs, periodicals, and audiovisual material).  For insurance purposes we need to come up with an estimated value of the collection. 

Any suggestions or feedback would be appreciated.
