Hello to all those signed up for Session 11 entitled:

A Classical Education: Collection Building in Classics and Archaeology

This is an interactive workshop where audience participation is
important. As promised, we are providing a few "Talking Points" to
get you started thinking for this session.

>> "Think Globally, act Locally" (its good to have a choice
>> vendor on site or who knows the territory)

>> "Knowledge is everything" (a little expertise in the culture/
>> language goes a long way)

> "A complete collection is only an ideal" (some older scholarship can't
> be acquired, no matter how much money you have; and current
> scholarship often goes out of print quickly, etc.)

Feel free to contribute any more "talking points" to me by tomorrow.
We look forward to seeing you all on Sunday May 7th at 1:30 pm.

yours,

Lucie Stylianopoulos
