I'm trying to help a student with the following question. Does anyone have any sources to recommend, either print or electronic, that would be particularly useful?
"I need help looking for art exhibitions of Old Masters such as Velazquez, Chardin, Titian, Ruysdael, and Renaissance artists that were held in Europe (specifically France and maybe London) in the late nineteenth century. Is there a good database for this aside from the ones on Penrose's site? Are there any specific sources that you can suggest to get this information?"
