Papers are sought on any aspect of death and dying as represented in art. Topics may include the commemoration of the dead, death as a result of war, the plague, old age and preparation for death, martyrdoms, suicide, human sacrifice, triumph over death, apotheoses, or the pursuit of immortality. Abstracts for papers that do not fit into any of the topics addressed in the sessions listed should be sent to both conference co-chairs who will organize other sessions based on accepted submissions:
