Please join ARLIS/NE on December 2, 2005 for a visit to Ars Libri and a "Gallery Hop" in the SOWA district thereafter.
Meet at Ars Libri at 4 pm for a brief talk, "cocktails" and then explore the collection on your own. For directions and more information see their website at http://www.arslibri.com.
Following the meeting at Ars Libri, ARLIS/NE members will explore the SOWA gallery district's first Friday event from 5:30 - 8:00 pm. Each first Friday of the month SOWA artists open their studios to the public. For more information go to http://www.sowaartists.com/about.html.
We have invited Simmons' library students to attend this meeting for a fun and informal opportunity to get to know ARLIS/NE and some local art librarians. Please join us in welcoming them.
Anne Reid, ARLIS/NE secretary, and Rachel Resnik, ARLIS/NE listserv manager, will be meeting students at 2:30 pm in
