Hello everyone - I have a graduate art education student (Kate) searching for curriculum materials and/or lesson plans on the topic of portfolio preparation for high school students applying to art schools/colleges. This is the topic of her thesis and she is beginning her research. We've found semi-relevant articles and books, but her professor/advisor wants her to find curriculum materials. Kate teaches the portfolio prep course in the UArts Saturday School for pre-college students and is very familiar with National Portfolio Day. They don't provide any such support materials that we could find. We've searched Wilson (Art Index and OmniFile) and ERIC, scoured the catalog, Googled, and haven't really found anything. We've looked through the National Art Education Association Web site, AICAD, ArtsEdge, ArtsEdNet, and the National Standards for Arts Education. Any other ideas? Thanks very much. Please reply to me.
