Part-time Digital Resources Assistant

Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island seeks a part-time
Digital Resources Assistant for the Visual Resources Center within the Architecture Library. Primary responsibilities include creating digital images (through photography and scanning), manipulating images using imaging software, assisting in the cataloging of digital images, and archiving images. The position may also assist in training students and faculty in use of digital image databases and software.

Required qualifications:
  1. Bachelor’s degree.
  2. Knowledge and understanding of the technology used in the production and manipulation of digital images.
  3. Digital and film photography experience.
  4. Experience with digital image processing (specifically using Adobe Photoshop).
  5. Strong interpersonal skills.

Preferred qualifications:
  1. Bachelor of Arts in fine arts or art history.
  2. Previous library or visual resources collection experience.

This is a part-time position (up to 19 hours per week).
