CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
 
As set forth in the ARLIS/NA Bylaws, Article IX Sect. 4, nominations for offices of the ARLIS/NA Executive Board may be entered by petition with signatures of at least ten eligible members. For the coming year (2006), the Society seeks to fill the offices of Vice-President/President-Elect, Treasurer, Canadian Representative, and West Regional Representative.  Positions, including terms of service, are described in the ARLIS/NA by-laws, available on the ARLIS/NA web site.  Each nomination petition must be accompanied by documentation consisting of a statement of acceptance, a portrait photograph (or surrogate – jpg or gif file preferred), a brief biography, and a résumé outlining professional accomplishments (Word format).  
 
Supporting documentation must be received by the Chair of the Nominating Committee at the address provided below no later than
September 15, 2004
 
According to by-law regulations, if no nominations are received from the membership by the deadline, a slate of candidates recommended by the Nominating Committee and approved by the Executive Board will be announced to the membership, to be followed by a period of comment.
