PRICE INCREASE NOTICE
The projected Publication Prices for all three editions of this catalog have been raised. The current pre-publication prices will expire August 31 as previously announced.
New pre-publication pricing will will be in effect September 1. Those who have already subscribed, or subscribe by August 31, are not affected by the price change.
This has come about because the size of the collection increased.
The catalog was originally to have
included about 200 books with images. It now has 400 cover designs, and
to date the images have been photographed or scanned for over 300 of them.
This
has added considerable expense and
scope to the catalog, hence the price increase.
It is on schedule for 2006 publication
in a Deluxe Edition, a Limited Edition, and a CD-ROM. Pre-publication discount

The Deluxe edition of 25 copies will be in a Minsky binding that is influenced by study of this collection. The Deluxe edition will use 23K gold for the stamping.

While the book is in preparation, subscribers have passcode access to the website with the complete checklist of 400 books, and all the images (300 as of today), as well as the illustrated essays as they are written, and the current database. The sections now up are The Oriental Influence, Trees and the Picture Plane, The Motor Car Hits the Cover, The Hollywood Connection, Travel Books, Flowers & Vines.
Currently I am working on six sections: Ships and Water, Symmetrical Patterns, Architecture, Adventure-Pictorial, Old Style, and A Class of Its Own.
